Petersham Cottage Candles is a UK-based company selling hand-poured candles through this website. By placing an order, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts.

2. Products and Availability

We strive to display accurate product descriptions and pricing. However, we cannot guarantee complete accuracy and reserve the right to modify or discontinue products without notice. All orders are subject to availability.

3. Orders and Payment

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
  • We accept payment via bank/credit cards.
  • Payment must be made in full before dispatch.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • We currently ship within the UK only.
  • Delivery times are estimates only, and we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control
  • Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout.

5. Returns and Refunds

Faulty or Damaged Goods

  • If your candle arrives faulty or damaged, please notify us within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the issue.
  • We will provide either a full refund or replacement depending on the circumstances.
  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

Change of Mind
(Online Orders Only)

  • For online orders, you can return the item within 30 days.
  • To qualify, the candle must be in perfect condition, unused, and in its original packaging.
  • Once returned, we will issue a refund for the cost of the product. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

How to Return an Item

  • Contact us with your order number and reason for return.
  • For faulty/damaged items, please include photos.

Items We Cannot Accept for Return

  • Used candles.
  • Custom or personalised candles (unless faulty).

6. Product Safety

  • Our candles are designed for indoor use. Please follow all safety instructions provided.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, text, logos, and designs, is the property of Petersham Cottage Candles and protected by copyright laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petersham Cottage Candles shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any rights you are entitled to under UK consumer law.
